Een wel heel interessant gezelschap is het jonge rijk geschakeerde spiritual jazzgezelschap Ancient Infinity Orchestra uit Leeds, de bakermat van coole jazz uit het noorden van Groot-Brittannië. Met River of Light maken ze gelijk een verrassend sterk debuut. De 14koppige band wordt geleid door de ambitieuze bassist/componist Ozzy Moysey en heeft in Matt Cliffe, de zo getalenteerde saxofonist uit Matthew Halsall’s band, één van de vaste muzikanten waaromheen de samenstelling van de band steeds weer verandert. Met twee bassisten, drums, keyboards, harp, viool, cello, twee tenorsaxen, altsax, hobo, fluit en percussie heeft de band de mogelijkheid om imposant uit te bouwen.
