Ondanks dat One Piece at a Time een geslaagde Finn Andrews soloplaat is, voelt het toch niet helemaal goed, en ligt het The Veils voortbestaan op een te zwaar beladen weegschaal. De band gaat eerder al met het zware manisch depressieve Total Depravity over het randje heen, een exorcistische krachtexplosie waar de The Veils meer dan het uiterste van zichzelf vraagt. Dat Finn Andrews het beste, maar ook het slechtste onder spanning presenteert bewijst hij wel tijdens de live optredens. Die zijn altijd heel intens, en daardoor geniaal of juist teleurstellend. Zeker als een gefrustreerde geïrriteerde Finn Andrews vroegtijdig het podium verlaat. De romanticus geeft zichzelf direct in de gevoelige...
