De rockcultuur eist altijd zijn slachtoffers op, daar zal nooit iets aan veranderen. Hoe lastig is het om aan die opgelegde verwachtingen te voldoen, als men je vraagt om over die uiterste begrenzing te stappen. Zeker als de muziek nog een grote emotionele lading met zich voortbrengt. Gitarist Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin van Black Midi blijkt amper tegen die druk bestand, en bezwijkt doordat hij zich tijdens concerten geen houding kan aanmeten, en zelfs voor de geniale touwtrekkende Black Country, New Road frontman Isaac Wood ligt die lat te hoog.
