Ondanks het stoere image heeft het ook iets liefs, onschuldigs en schattigs als tijdens de jaren negentig gitaarrock en indie opleving vrouwen prominenter op de voorgrond treden. Bloemetjesjurken met daaronder legerkistjes, ranke handen die zich lomp en snel over basgitaarsnaren voortbewegen. Bovenaards stemgeluid, met hier en daar wat drammerige soms zelfs gillende vocale uithalen. Ook de radiogevoelige All Saint samenzang domineert volop in de hitparadelijstjes. Wet Leg haalt het mooiste uit die invloedrijke periode naar boven, voegt verder bar weinig nieuws toe, maar wordt door de Britse journalistiek als nieuwste hype naar voren geschoven.
