Na de uitgebreide viering met een door een indrukwekkende gastenlijst bevolkt eerbetoon Looking Into You  en het uit 2014 daterende Standing In The Breach bleef het angstvallig stil rond de singer- songwriter die nog tijdens zijn tienerjaren These Days componeerde, een prachtig melancholisch nummer dat in New York opgepikt werd door Nico, vanaf de jaren zeventig volgden talloze covers. Jackson Browne begon na hand- en spandiensten voor The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band en Eagles en Linda Ronstadt in de vroege jaren zeventig voor eigen rekening. In de halve eeuw dat hij muzikaal actief is kwamen er een dozijn studioplaten uit naast een handvol concert registraties met het weergaloze Running On...
