In Music Hall combineren ze het verfijnde theatrale musicalgevoel met die typische Britse humor en vinden iconen als Charlie Chaplin en Stan Laurel hun weg naar het publiek. Joe Jackson treedt op als Britse cultuurerfgoed beschermheilige en kruipt in het Max Champion personage. Het is mij niet geheel duidelijk of dit een fictieve geromantiseerde music hall artiest uit het post Charles Dickens tijdperk betreft, of dat Max Champion daadwerkelijk bestaan heeft.
