In 1971 verscheen Muswell Hilbillies van The Kinks, in 1972 gevolgd door Everybody's in Show-Biz. Om de vijftigste verjaardagen van deze opmerkelijke albums binnen het oeuvre van The Kinks te vieren, brengt de band beide albums opnieuw uit, in een 2022 remaster met bonus tracks en nieuwe remixes van Ray Davies. Muswell Hillbillies kwam uit in november 1971. Het was de eerste release van The Kinks op het RCA label.
