Het uit Northampton afkomstige synthesizer duo Boy Harsher intrigeert met grimmige retro electropop. Achter dit project verschuilen zich zangeres Jae Matthews en producer Augustus Muller. Goed geproduceerde coldwave gemakkelijk meetbaar met de duistere jaren tachtig New Wave. De licht provocerende clips spelen op de donkere kant van het bestaan in. Het gotische sfeertje nogmaals benadrukt de bloedhonger waarbij het nachtleven centraal staat. De androgeen erotische Jae neemt als dominerende meesteres de rol als frontvrouw erg serieus met aan haar zijde op het podium de muzikale partner Augustus als slaafse volgeling.
