De titel laat aan duidelijkheid niets te wensen over, de Canadese songmid  Corb Lund heeft ondertussen een reeks langspelers opgebouwd met de niet altijd even rooskleurige verhalen uit het eenzame cowboyleven uitgebracht. Op het recente Agricultural Tragic brengt de voormalige rodeoman uit Alberta hulde aan zijn familie die zich destijds in het Wilde Westen als pioniers staande hield. Die opvolger van Cover Your Tracks  krijgt nu een vervolg met Songs My Friends Wrote. Die vrienden zijn muzikanten met wie Lund  de afgelopen jaren optrok al kaartend en drinkend in de saloon of samen musicerend op het podium.
