Wie had ooit gedacht dat dit schuchtere meisje tot een van de smaakmakers van de laatste jaren zou uitgroeien. Na de als Lizzy Grant gemaakte valse start, scoort ze geheel tegen verwachtingen in met Video Games een wereldhit. Net iets meer dan een eendagsvlieg, getuige het Born To Die succes, het titelstuk van haar tweede album. Live straalt ze doodsangsten uit. Niet geheel stem zuiver worstelt ze zich door de optredens heen. Haar datingsafspraken met bad guy Axl Rose werken ook al niet in het voordeel, maar ze blijkt een blijvertje. Stabiel naast de grote spelspelers totdat ze anderhalf jaar geleden met Norman Fucking Rockwell! de een na de andere...
