De snelheid waarmee Neil Young verschillende releases op de markt blijft gooien is gekmakend. Na eerder dit jaar al drie releases in zijn ‘Official Bootleg Series’ en eentje in zijn ‘Archive Series’ (en eind vorig jaar nog nieuw album Barn) is er nu ook deel 21 van zijn ‘Performance Series’: Noise & Flowers, de weerslag van zijn korte Europese tour met Promise Of The Real in 2019. Die negen shows tellende tour was een bijzondere. Luttele dagen voor deze van start ging overleed Elliot Roberts, ruim een halve eeuw een goede vriend van Young en zijn manager. Zodoende benaderde Young – die een foto van zijn vriend op zijn monitors...
